Albert Lea Good Samaritan Center is managed by the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.The 19-bed nursing and rehabilitation center, also known as a nursing home, offers 24-hour nursing care, rehabilitative services, and assistance with daily assistance for elderly, disabled, and chronically ill individuals who are unable to safely reside at home or in any other living alternative.A full-time chaplain serves spiritual needs and an activities department provides social and recreational opportunities seven days a week. Appetizing meals are served in the carefully appointed dining room as per the directions of a full-time registered dietitian.Other services that complement these services are adult day care, respite, and hospice care. Three licensed social workers assist residents and their families with issues of aging.Albert Lea Good Samaritan Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
